Hi All,
I've never seen the whole documentary film "Midway" directed by legendary movie director John Ford. Only bits and parts. In fact, I'm not sure if this eight minute film is the whole version or not. No matter. It's wonderful to see in color the actual aircraft that were used against the Japanese in the pivotal naval battle fought so long ago.
If you catch it quickly,....you'll notice a float USN fighter moored in the shallows at Midway Island.
