im curious if there are any twin engined aircraft that would have the legs to reach Hawaii from San Fransico Ca ..or more to the point Auburn Ca KAUN to Kahului KOGG..the distance measured quickly in google earth, is 2117.18 NM or 2436.41 miles.

ive looked at my favs..like the Kingair 350,,i didnt look at the specs for the 350ER thogh..and i looked at the DHC6-400 ,so without extra tanks, neither would make it.i dont care if its a radial...or a turboprop..i dont want it to be a jet though..and hopefully something we have in FSX...doable at all?..

I thought I remember reading somewhere where someone was ferrying a Beechcraft of some sort from Alaska to Hawaii, although I could be mistaken. Unfortunately I don't have the time to look for it right now, but let me see if I can find it again later on.

ORLANDO, Fla., (Oct. 21, 2014) Beechcraft Corporation, a subsidiary of Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, announced today at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Convention and Exhibition that company pilots recently flew a standard production King Air 350ER aircraft nonstop between California’s Napa County Airport (KAPC) to Hawaii’s Honolulu International Airport (PHNL).

This is the first time a King Air class airplane has made the California to Hawaii leg without additional ferry fuel tanks,” said Dan Keady, vice president, Special Missions.

Pretty good. 1+40 fuel remaining but 9 hours in a KingAir 'pit?

When a lot younger I did half of that and was probably well over my butt's endurance limit. I guess, if the boss paid well... real well...
