• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

remember pan am flight 103?

"released on compasionate grounds". . .??? They must be kidding. Under what circumstances would he deserve that ?

They should show as much compassion for him as he showed for his victims. NONE!

Prostate cancer: a fitting sentence. It can be a painful, slow death when it spreads. I hope the prison is stingy with pain medicine.

i have a hard time wishing pain (or cancer) on someone, even when they deserve it like this guy does. but even so, i don't think they should let him go, ESPECIALLY on "compassionate grounds". let him serve the sentence in it's (or his, whichever comes first) entirety. in my mind, by being kept alive and fed and treated, he has seen all the mercy he could possibly be due.

forgiveness is one thing. You can be forgiven by victims and still serve out your punishment that you owe to society. That's rediculous that anyone wants him to be released.
