Reminiscent of Craig's Junkers F13...

WOW they did it!!! I´ve been following the project, but lost track recently. Hope they´ll fly it from Junker´s hometown at EDLN (Junkers hangar) one day. Their regular Ju52 always flies over the area here in summer. Would make for some great planespotting!

Regards
Alex

Its nice to see the efforts which are done to build a replica of one of the first real airliners. However I'm wondering why they have chosen to use a radial engine for this replica, while the majority of the F-13s flew with a water cooled line engine. I assume it is because the Ju-52 operated by Ju-Air uses the same engines.

Alex I'm convinced when you will have the opportunity you will share your pictures of this aircraft. For now I share a picture I took from Craig's F-13 :biggrin-new:

Cheers,
Huub
