This is a repaint only for the WOP P-47 Thunderbolt, in the markings of P-47D-25 "No Guts, No Glory." This aircraft was built in 1945, too late to see service in WWII. It was delivered to FA Peruana as FAP119 in 1953. In 1969 it was one of six Thunderbolts recovered from Peru by Ed Jurist. It then became part of the CAF and flew as "Grumpy", a 12AF fighter.

It then passed through several owners before crashing during take off in 1980 and was later purchased by The Fighter Collection...
