After being a dedicated CFS2 flyer and SOH follower twenty years ago I lapsed when I found that my new computer and/or PC wouldn't display the prog. I recently discovered that my latest PC with Windows 11 has no problem. I wonder how many others have been through the same experience.

Welcome back! Yes quite a few have had problems, Lucky much smarter people have made drop in .dlls (DDrawCompat, DxWrapper or dgVoodoo 2) that make older games like CFS2 work on modern OSes like Win10 and 11.

Also if CFS2 is working right of the box and you do have the Enable Hardware Acceleration option that works can I get your CPU and GPU? It is nice to have so we all know what hardware works and doesn't work for CFS2. If the Enable Hardware Acceleration is grayed out you may want to try DDrawCompat, DxWrapper or dgVoodoo 2 that can fix that.
