Ryan Newman = No Wins/Still In

If "Poetic Justice" is real, and the Gods be kind, and have a sense of "yumor", Newman will win the championship next week, hehe...

Keselowski wining next week with Newman finishing second and wining the championship would really be poetic justice LoL! :a1310:

Hey All,

Heck of a win by Kevin! Congrats! Hopefully he has a car that good next week - if not him then Joey or Ryan.

That was great racing at the finish - yes Cale "leaned on" the rookie but didn't wreck him and the rookie finished. It was lucky that the 9 and 42 raced each other to give Cale a shot. Cale did what he had to do. Why am I saying Cale you ask? Well long ago Ryan Newman was being thought of as the next Cale Yarborough and I thought it an apt description. The idea of being Cale does not fit Brad. Good on ya Ryan Newman.

The man I was happiest for was my favorite owner Richard Childress and boy did his happiness show. Used to love how he an Dale go huntin an fishin all the time. Been a long dry spell for Richard and I would be really happy to see Richard get another title ala Ryan. In a strange way even Kevin winning would be bittersweet for Richard since Kevin until this year drove for Richard taking over the role of Dale Sr after his death.

It would be nice to see Joey win as well but I'm not as concerned for him as he is young and will - I'll say it now - win a championship or 2 or 3 eventually if not next week. Gibbs never had a clue about Joey's potential.

The most interesting will be seeing what whiny sniveling Hamlin does. After losing to Jimmie he disappeared off the face of NASCAR. Kinda sensitive I guess. Will he have a backbone or a wishbone - we will see. Maybe he will have grown up although all that false stuff he was saying about Brad a few weeks ago seems to counter that. The toyotas are always fast at Homestead.

Be an interesting race.

Outside of wanting Ryan to win the championship with no wins, I'm impartial on this one....
I'll just for what changes next year's rules bring....:biggrin-new:
