Hmmm ... that went okay except for neglecting the mixture knob for the whole flight. :mixed-smiley-010:

Try another ....

Great to see you made another successful flight after some computer whoas Buddy! Keep up the great job you're doing!:applause:

Sounds something like you're having problems similar problems to the ones I had during the London to Melbourne event in November.

First of all Robert41 told me to Check my event viewer for any details on the crash.

I found that Modules\weather.DLL path was not listed on the fire wall's incoming permissions list, which I've added, but still had a black screen and reboot after that, so who knows?

I did finally manage to finish after three lockups and some choice words to go with them.:banghead:

I also see you're now running FS10 and was going to ask you how you liked it. I think I'll wait at least until I'm done here to try it.

Here's
A quote from my research after the event was complete last November, which you may wont to check.

I’ve done some research on the FS locking up. I have another theory, with the emphasis on “theory” about the FS lockups. In the
FSUIPC setting/miscellaneous, I did not have the option “Keep FS clock syn’d to real time” checked. I’m thinking perhaps that, since FS runs slower than the computer time, after a few hours it can make Duenna think that you’re not active or something to that affect. Anyway, the last correction I made was to check the option and haven’t had the problem in three flights now . I’ve read other posts in various FS simulator web sites where some folks are saying that FSX has stopped after about 6 hours. Those problems could be related who knows.

I don't know what I've done since, except paid Microsoft for one year's support for one year and had one of their technicians work on it for about three hours straightening out my messes.
I'm a hoarder by personality and never want to delete anything. :0

Their paid for support is very excellent IMHO.

Good luck and "Blue Skies" with the rest of the event.

:encouragement:
