• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

SE "script error" problem

When I open my single installation of FSX-SE (boxed FSX is gone) it opens on the Home tab. I have to click "No" on three different "Do you want to continue running scripts?" error screens. This is likely due to the fact that SE wants to see an IE9 browser but since I am running XP the highest I can run is IE8. This is a bit of an annoyance and I wondered if I could insert or change a line in an .ini or .cfg file so that SE would open on the Free Flight tab instead?

It is odd but I posted this issue on the Steam FSX forum and they deleted my post after one response. No idea why except I guess they perhaps want the browser conduit to their webstore.

If any SOH'ers have a suggestion I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Obie
