Setup for rudder pedals?

Aussie Pilot

I need more ammo
Guy's Santa brought me some rudder pedals, top bloke aye. so now i'm trying to set them up in my game but it isn't working.

My game see's them, i can see them in the control section but can't seem to programme them.

When i fly they do work but the brakes don't seem to be programmed .

I have the Saitek Pro flight pedals, how did you guys programme them and save it.

cheers,

Carl,

In your .xca file (the one in your hidden folder in documents and settings) make sure under the flight pedals you have these lines:

</Device>
<Device Type="Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals">
<GameMode Name="Player">
<Axis ID="X" Action="AXIS_LEFT_BRAKE_SET" Scale="65472" Nullzone="36"/>
<Axis ID="Y" Action="AXIS_RIGHT_BRAKE_SET" Scale="65472" Nullzone="36"/>

NOTE: </Device>
<Device Type="Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals">
<GameMode Name="Player">

should already be there.

Hope it helps. If not maybe we can get on TS some time and I'll tell you exactly how to do it. That is the only way to get differential braking in CFS3 based games you cannot program seperate brake axis out of the control options menu in the game.

Cheers,

John

I just found it, my game created another file with the rudder info in it. So i'll copy it over to my file and edit it to how you said.

cheers,

Carl.
