Shined A-10

OBIO! You clean yourself up and get back to the CFS-2 forum RIGHT NOW! You know better than to be meddling in the affairs of civilian flight simulators!! :173go1:

But most of us kinda like having OBIO around here!!! :woot:

Thanks for the 'shined' model file for Alpha's A-10, OBIO. Just enough spiff to add some new life to an older but still excellent bird.

In time, I plan on reskinning the plane...those panel lines on the stock skins are pretty BOLD! Also, need to do up a panel set for the plane...it's annoying flying around without a single gauge in 2D or VC mode. Just need to find some pics of the Warhog's panel so I can get the gauges in the proper places and know what gauges to use.

Get Alphasim_panel_bitmaps.zip over at Avsim. there's an a-10 bitmap in there, from Phil himself.

As for gauges, go over to Flightsim.com and download the FS-98 FSD B-58 Hustler. the gauges in that package work fine in FS 2004 and are of the proper type for 60's and 70's vintage military aircraft.

I have the AlphaSim panel collection...a most useful archive of 2D panel images...highly recommend that everyone grabs it.

Will definitely check out the gauges from the Hustler...can never have too many gauges.
