Sibwings Bird Dog....

Timmy74

SOH-CM-2016
Hello chaps,

Has anyone been able to get their Bird Dog from Sibwings to work in P3Dv3?? I have heard that no one is active at Sibwings anymore...? So to get a reply from support issues seems to fall on deaf ears.

If you have managed to get it to work could you please post or PM me?

Cheers,
Tim.

I fly it regularly and have no problems with it. I don't remember if I installed it or copied it over from an old FSX installation. Probably the latter.

Cheers,
Mark

Hello Mark. When i try to run my installer for the Bird Dog i just get a "The setup files are corrupt. Please obtain a new copy of the program":banghead::banghead::banghead:.

Would you know which files i could copy over from FSX to P3Dv3 to get her to work at all?

Cheers,
Tim.

Same here, I have the Bird Dog in FSX/Accel and P3D_V3.3.5 and have never had any problems. Since I don't use the Migration Tool (too many chances for odd behavior/results) I most likely just copied it over.

I just redownloaded the bird dog along with the AN-2. The bird dog requires a machine code for activation as I now have a new computer, but install into P3Dv3 was quick and getting a key/reactivation was painless. Simply a dummy FSX exe and pointing the installer to P3D works just fine.

SUCCESS Gentlemen!

I just re-downloaded the file from Sibwings and she installed with no trouble. The other .exe must have been for my older computer so the "finger print" did not work....i am guessing!?

Anyhow, thank you very much for your inputs and now I ma having fun with the Bird Dog once again.:wiggle:

Cheers,
Tim.
