• There seems to be an up tick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Sibwings Pitts - only FSX?

Hello,

I was so excited to find the Sibwings Pitts variants but was disappointed to see that it's only for FSX. Is there not an FS9 version? :frown:

I saw the other payware Pitts that has both versions but Sibwings looks so much nicer.

Are there other payware Pitts for FS9?

Yes, unfortunately the Sibwings model is for FSX only.

If you're interested in a payware Pitts for FS9, I believe there's only one game in town: Addictive Simulations. Their model is available for both FSX and FS9. I don't have it, but the reviews are fairly positive. Good luck.

There was also one by 'Pureflight-Simulations'; their site is gone but you may find a copy at the regular publishing houses like justflight or pcaviator

I tested this model of Sibwings Pitts Special in P3Dv3 Today and it works ok.
I noticed only strange little shake in VC on the ground (the engine is off) but model in 2016 looks still very good! FM could be better but nice little plane.
