Hey All,
Now that she's 19 I guess it's OK for me to admit that this girl became a hero of mine when she was around 12 to 14 (I was over 50). I thought if I could ever play my mandolin half as good as she is at that age in this performance my musical aspirations will be fulfilled.
Nice of the school to let her outta the 6th grade to help out Allison Krauss and Union Station on Cluck Old Hen.

Course she just got better and began to sing. Note she is only about 15 or 16 in this video - her voice has a long way to go.

Now a young woman her voice is filling out and even though she is still in "copy Allison Krauss" mode she is going to become an absolute superstar when she finds her own voice and style - as if she wasn't already with her talent on the mandolin. This is the lead song off her latest CD released two weeks ago.
Nice of the Berkley School of Music where she is the only musician to ever win a Presidential Scholarship in Bluegrass to work with the development of her career.

Wonderful watching these kids grow up. Just wish I had half the talent she has in her little finger.
