What a wonderful show!

I just finished viewing this for the first time. Having grown up around planes & airports made the movie that much better, and more than once I had to wipe away a tear. Perhaps it was due to my ties to flying and planes I share with my father...:mixedsmi:
If you have not seen this one yet, I highly recommend it! :ernae:

Yeah Robert, I watched this for the first time a couple of weeks ago, they had it in HD on TV and it was a great experience, highly recommended. :ernae:

You guys should see it with surround sound. :icon_lol:

If you enjoyed that, download Brian's 10-minute short on his flight with the Blue Angels: http://terwilligerproductions.com/flyingfullcircle/

You must have a program that will decode .iso files to write the DVD. but please do so if you do. The DVD, once burned, is as good a quality as the DVD One-Six Right. Click: Share and Download, then Burn Your Own DVD.

I get email from Brian and correspond with him regularly. He is a first-rate individual.

I recommend getting "One-Six-Left" as well, Robert. It is a nice companion to "One-Six-Right". I usually end up watching both on a lazy afternoon, sometimes.

One-six right was an awesome movie. It would be the last one I would watch in any form of company though. Most people around me simply wouldn't get why someone would start crying tears of joy about a flying aircraft. :isadizzy::icon_lol:

When I made my once a month trip out to the West Coast, I stayed at the Carriage Inn in Van Nuys. I would go out on Saturday and that would give me a whole Sunday at Van Nuys Airport. I could usually get me a ride. I met some great people and got to fly in some unusual aircraft.

An absolute Dain. I got it at the same time I ordered One-Six Right. It is currently out on loan to Mark Aldemann, who is manager of Danville Regional Airport. He likes it because it has shorter sequences that suit showing to the younger audiences.

. . . . .If you enjoyed that, download Brian's 10-minute short on his flight with the Blue Angels: http://terwilligerproductions.com/flyingfullcircle/ Caz
I purchased 16R about a year ago and have to say, if you are at all inspired by the concept of flight, you should have this film. The most inspiring and emotional film of this type I've ever seen. My reaction to it was much the same as many who have watched "16R". . . .man's desire to soar among the clouds, to lift himself above the earth he's tied to and be free, just for a little while.

Watching Brian's short film about his ride with the Blue Angels was also emotional for me. I was able to relive my ride in the F-16 in 2002. It was as Jeff told the Cameras in the film. . ."sometimes a person's only ride". . .as it was for me. I knew, when it was over, I would never have that opportunity again in my lifetime, but for 1 hour in my long life I was doing something that few people beyond the ranks ever get the chance to do and I will always be proud of that time I spent free of the bonds of earth. I know exactly how Brian felt. . .before and after. . . .Good for you Brian.

Not for FSX, no. Not that I know of. The FS9 version is, well, ok:

Falcon,

To go with Chief's links for FS2004, try this for ultimate realism (Summer textures only, but extremely high res).

[FONT=verdana, sans-serif] <table width="100%" border="0"><tbody><tr><td width="*">[FONT=verdana, sans-serif] File Description:
This package contains high resolution ground scenery for the traffic pattern area of Van Nuys Airport(VNY). Normal flight simulator scenery has a resolution of approximately 4.7 meters/pixel. That's OK at higher altitudes but leads to very blurry ground textures when flying low - e.g. in the traffic pattern. My high resolution airport area sceneries have a resolution 1.2 meters/pixel. This results in much more detail and a more realistic experience of "being there". This scenery gives best results when combined with my "Southern-" and "Northern Los Angeles" standard resolution ground sceneries, available here: Southern Los Angeles: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004scen&DLID=89921 Northern Los Angeles: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004scen&DLID=89911 For more information please visit: http://n330dg.batcave.net
