Destroyer pix: 3O = All three in Murmansk area in 1942. Built for the "Great War" they ably served as many of their kin did in WW2.
2S = Kinda the same class, both in 1943 livery with enhanced AA protection.

I havn't done a DP in over 2 years. Just somewhat adjusted wakes, smoke. My files are corrupted, don't want to take a chance of infecting the community.

It doesn't stop me from building. Its better than watching TV.:guinness:

Seems like most of the developers have been chased away.

What are the ships in the foreground and background?
Look like a V or W class in the background and and an R (or earlier) in the foreground.:isadizzy:

Stuart: Thanks for your interest.

All are destroyers, foreground: USSR "Novik" class 1915, as in 1942 - Northern Fleet.

Middle Norwegian DD, from Royal Navy, one of the fifty USN 4 stackers (1918) - "St. Albans" which mistakenly sank a Polish sub which was out of its position - the Polish sub was a former USN "S Boat."

The final one is a RN V&W - 1917 - penant D75 "Venomous" - sorry its in the 1940 arrangement and paint job. In 42 she lost A and Y main battery, and one set of TTs, received DC racks and throwers, increased AA and radar, as well as Northern Approaches livery.

The second pix are front - Benham class, rear - Bagley class. I decided the best way to sort through all of the USN classes was to model them all.

those are looking great! dont worry about infections. Zip them up and send them to me in a zip and i can clean them for you i have the tools for it and it would be great to see these fine ships out on the virtual seas.

Thanks for the info. on the ships and thanks for your efforts with the CFS2 models. I have used a lot of them in missions nad they are really good.

I was particularly interested in the V&W class destroyer as it would be handy for any missions involving the "Scrap Iron Flotilla" and some missions in SE Asia 1941-2.
