• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Are there any other cards (Other than Creative) that will work in a VISTA 64bit ? I am having fits with a Extreme Gamer . I've reseated it in the board , installed lastest drivers from Creative Labs . Updated MB BIOS to lastest . Still have to reboot PC two or three times a week due to getting the " audio device installed" . I quess it has happened frequently with VISTA users with Creative cards . Anybody using a Non-Creative card on a VISTA 64bit system ?

Something else is wrong... I have the SB Extreme and it hasn't missed a bit in Vista 64/32/Windows7/XP Pro/32/64.
 
Hi all,
I have an Extreme Gamer in one machine and an Extreme Music in another.Both running Vista with no problems.Make sure you have the newest drivers and that they are not the XP ones.
