Spitfire IX Paintkit

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if there is a paint kit for the Spitfire as for a VR project, would like to paint it up as a MK.II.

Cheers,

Martin

HI,

It doesn't look like there is one yet. FYI, to search through paintkits created for DCS World aircraft, look on the DCS home page under "Downloads/Texture Templates". If (or when) one is created it should show up here.

https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/texture_templates/

Then again, there are a few repaints already done in the user files section for the Spitfire. I suppose it can be done without a paintkit.

Cheers,

Scott,

Thanks for the reply. We have looked at the repaints and most seem to be based on the late Dark Green and Medium Sea Grey colours, but then there are a few aluminium ones so perhaps it is possible. Only way to find out and give it a go. Basically just want it to look like a 1940 Spitfire 1 for a VR sim we are making. Already have the 109K painted up to look like the Buchons used in the film by Matt Wynn.
