Spitfire lovers

Can't figure out how to attach a video from my video file. Search for..youtube "Spitfire under bridge". Don't know if it's for real but it's cool. Someday I'll fine out how to send the link. :banghead:

I guess this is the famous scene from the series "a piece of cake". When it is this scene, the Spitfire really flew under the bridge. The pilot was squadron leader Ray Hanna.

I actually found the movie. It is the scene mentioned above merged with a scene from Foyle's war.

Cheers,
Huub

edit: this is the original scene from "A piece of cake". (Tom, Thanks for explaining how to attach the clip.)

When you find the vid you want on YouTube, just copy the video's ID number from the web address. Then come back here, click the
yt.jpg
button, and paste the number between the tags. It should look like this (wityout the spaces inside the tags):

_OF0v1dwYC8

Lets see if I've got it. Someone just has to produce this in a new version. The sounds of those engines!

Mustang, you put the whole address inside the tags. All you want is the ID code itself - "GLXjU8wJqYA" in your case.

Mustang51, you only need the YouTube code after the "v=", not the entire URL.

Cazzie had posted the above info for me. I think you made the same mistake I did. By posting the entire URL. That's why it showed blank on your post. Remember,....just copy/paste the code after the "V=" That's all.

Yes, I agree the Merlin is an awesome sounding machine. In this case however I would have to say it's a shame there is music mixed in with the audio track, else someone might get an idea to make an awesome soundpack.

Sometimes the URL contains extra info after the ID code. If so, the next character after the code will always be an "&" - skip that character and everything after it too.
