• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

SR-71 Blackbird

Thanks delta_lima for info but the first scenery pack download alpsr71a.zip is the same as the file for the operational craft
 
Go to the AlphaSim Website and look for the "UFO" Freeware. It comes with some excellent Area 51/Groom Lake scenery. Nice long runways included for any of the "Republic" built aircraft you may have in your hangar. I have the payware Alpha SR-71 and I fly it in and out of that airstrip regularly.

I think the Gmax Academy did a freeware SR-71 Blackbird, over at flightsim.com
I have their MiG-21 freeware and I think it is exceptional work.

HI Blackbird686 I downloaded the UFO package and it did not come with any scenery but there is a Groom lake scenery download on the alphasim freeware page is this the same one your talking about thanks
 
Hmmm... Thought the UFO and the scenery were one in the same. If Alpha is offering the scenery as freeware for Groom Lake, that's the one I have.
