STR dumps Bourdais.

It was mentioned on the coverage of the German GP (at least, on the feed we get!) that 'Sea-Bass' was being replaced by Jaime Alguersuari.
He was shown apparantly thanking his crew and other STR personel.

Couldn't agree more, sheer stupidity at this point of the season.
Then again, the STR cars have looked very ordinary all year.

Loeb is way too clever to go 'Effwun' with a bottom level team like STR .... I doubt he'd even bother with 'Effwun' to be honest.

I see Mosely has finally put pen to paper and will actually go, his nominee is Jean Todt, which makes Ari Vatanen an even better candidate for the job.
:applause:

I'd have to agree with wombat. Loab going from a top dog WRC drive to a last place rated F1 team would be a real dumb move.
This stuff about changing drivers from different disciplines of motor racing just doesn't seem to happen....although some drivers (I think) would be quite capable after some adjustment time. The transitions just don't happen very often.

...although Kimi R seems to enjoy rallying more and more as his F1 star fades.
He's good at it too.
