tanker 490? was unable to lower the gear and made a belly landing at red deer alberta,the tanker is one of air spray's L-188's.
 
Nice landing! I would imagine having that big tank under the belly made keeping the wings level as she decelerated pretty difficult. Glad she didn't end up in the dirt!

That's C-GZCF, built as N171PS for Pacific Southwest Airlines, where she flew from 1959 to 1968 and again from 1975 to 1979. She also flew for Holiday Airlines, Evergreen (where she was converted to a freighter), and Channel Express, before landing at Air Spray in 2003. In October of 2019 she'll be sixty years old! Hope they get 'er flying again.
