Thanks!

I like the new Avatar. The Lurcher looks the same type as mine except she is all black.

What happened to the cheerful Amy Johnson though?

Hey CF, I really do not know what the limits are outside the USA for viewing. Sorry if you cannot view it, it is a cult classic. Maybe they have something similar in Europe? Or offer another version? I just found this site myself, a good friend told me about it.

Cheers,
WF2

Thanks DUTCH's link, I've seen your picture with more detail now, and I really wonder, whether you wear your pilot overall under this gown? Or do you fly like this now, like the Ladies of the 18hundreds sat sideways on their horses? But one thing's for shure: you'll certainly get the enemies confused! :isadizzy: Cheer; Olham

WF............thanks for the reminder........total treat to revisit this classic....and this was shot real-time.........before CGI..........an astonishing body of work for cinematographers.

Thanks WF2. I never watched this movie before, and caught your post about 11pm local time. I just wanted to pop over and see what it was like. Needless to say I ended up watching the whole thing. My wife would like to thank you for me coming to bed finally at 2:30 am :banghead::censored::isadizzy::sleep::sleep:.
Seriously though, great movie and I finally saw george peppard in something other than the A-team.

Thanks,

John

Thanks WF

I'm embarassed to say this was the first time I've ever seen this movie. Thanks! :applause:

This movie is a golden oldie from my youth - pretty much the movie that introduced me to WWI and dogfighting. Today, it's pot-boiler of a story imo but the aerial sequences still hold up - as good and exciting as I've ever seen. I also remember thinking as a kid, when Richthofen took off in his DR1 after offering Peppard a place in his Jasta, "Wow, look at it climb!" Later, when I got the DVD and after having only seen the movie on television, edited for content so it wouldn't turn the American TV viewing public into social liabilities or communists :costumes: , I thought, "Wow, look at Ursula Andress undressed!" :applause:
