Hallo friends,
there once existed for FS2004 an good done "the freeware photoreal Luxembourg and Belgium Ground Scenery for Fs2004"
It was from Waffleflight (or Waffle Flight)
Can some one tell me where I still can download this scenery?
Best Regards
Michael Vader

Can I have a copy/link to site too? Then I can make my BeNeLux scenery more complete.

hertzie.

Can somebody post some screenshots to show what it looks like?

I can recall these textures were still available for download, but I have never seen the quality. When I'm honest, I think most photo real textures are a bit disappointing from the low altitudes I normally fly.

So I'm more than curious,

Cheers,
Huub

Goddmorning Friends,
at first thank you for your help.
Friends from here sended me the pack - thank you to them.
I got and installed the sceneries with the textures.
And I agree with Huub. They are disapointing when flying at low altitudes.
Nothing for flying at altitudes between 500 and 1000 meters with an WWI
aircraft.
I tried also to install the bgl's and textures from the "The Western Front" from CFS2
but the outcome is also very disapointing. It seems that the important part is the "GSL"
part and I do not know if this can be translated in fs9 format.
What I wanted in fact is the approach of a reproduction of the ports and air service stations
of Ostend / Brügge and Zeebrügge and Flanders as they has been in WWI time. For me impossible.
I do not have the knowledge nore the tools for doing that.
So thanks again
Best Regards
Yours
Michael Vader

Ps I do not have an active GMail account for the moment, only via here or my aol accont.

Thanks for the screenshots NavTech :encouragement:. The quality is better than I had expected and definitely the same level as the photo real textures from NL2000.

The fun from photoreal textures is that you can find particular buildings and even your own house. The down side is that they make the world flat (2D buildings) and look unrealistic when flying at low altitude.

I guess we are all spoiled by the images from MSFS :biggrin-new:

Cheers,
Huub
