The Glenview NAS Just Beyond MY Grasp

For a number of years I have looked at wished for, and hoped
I could make Gleview NAS show up in my FS9, this I am sure
has been my fault and no one else. If someone can be patrece
with me and explain to me how I can Glenview work in FS9.. for
a number of years I have read people here who have written about
Glenview NAS and a degree of difficulties that even the masters have
had in trying to rise it into FS9, I have had my almost new copy of
CFS2 and I am sure Glenview NAS will work because it was orinally
made CFS2...in closing CFS2 works perfect in my W7 I would just
like Glenview NAS to work in FS9.

Thanks

Casey

I take it that you've and followed the instructions in the "for fs9 & gw" zip file. Other than that little matter, Glenview installs into FS9 or GW3 like any other scenery.

The scenery was made for CFS2 and there are a couple glitches in FS9/GW3. One is something we saw in FS2002; from certain viewing angles the base textures of the underlying terrain sometimes peek through the apron or runway pavement. It can't be helped. The other is that for some reason nobody could figure out, the numbers at the ends of the runways are reversed in the north-south directions and can't be changed no matter how you try in the AFCAD file.

Otherwise, it should install and show up like any other scenery.

One possibility comes to mind. Do you have another scenery that includes a big exclude file that covers the location of NAS Glenview? If so, you could revers the relative order of that scenery and Glenview so that Glenview sits on top of the other scenery instead of under it.

I hope this helps.

Works in my GW3 Casey.
