Here's a bonnie wee thing.

[I've just noted that I've left the registration mark under the port wing but I trust that I can rely upon you gentlemen to ignore that!]

Ah, at last. I can access the site - which I wasn't able to do this morning. Otherwise I'd have offered a clue before now.

Surprise, surprise - it's French! The first example of this aeroplane was built in 1982, first flew in 1983 and was registered in 1984. A second example was built and registered in 1992. I think that both are VW powered. There are photographs of both on the net but none, as far as I am aware, of the original painted as per my photograph - which was taken last June.

I think that Walter is being diffident. He knows what this is - unless his memory is letting him down!

The elected candidate, giruXX! That depicted is the first Monogast, F-PYQT, across which I came, last June, as I wandered round the end of the skydiving club hangar at Niort. I'm not sure what it was doing there as according to the DGAC, its registered base is Avignon. The other Monogast is F-PCLD, photographs of which, online, seem to indicate that it is Monogast Nº 5. If so, are there three monogasts undergoing a very slow build process or were these plans sold without any subsequent action on the part of the purchasers? Anyhow, over to Allemagne.

hi PH:encouragement:
I like to think that my memory is still okay. However, of you play tricks by presenting a yellow (rather then white/blue) F-PYQT, you run the risk of putting us on the wrong foot. It seems that even giruXX was in doubt.
Please realize that you are now shown a yellow card :a1310:

Merci Pomme-Homme (and wout :encouragement:),

may I reply with a recent hangar find of my own?

Then I shall avoid posting images of red aeroplanes for the foreseeable future, Walter!
