• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

The What..? Imagine a big go-kart with an aerodynamic bodyshell and motorcycle engines from 185 up to 317 hp, and an empty weight starting at 341 kilo (750 pounds). Four wheel drive is optional.
It can be used on karting tracks, hill climbs and regular race tracks, and it looks like this:

Fictional? Nope, it was designed in Oregon and you can buy the basic version for about $26,000.

Check the downloads section on their website for the rFactor mod; they've created it themselves to "help evaluate, test, and tune our real-world cars."

The acceleration and handling are phenomenal, though it feels a bit twitchy at first. Because of the short wheelbase the drift angle is very limited so it can be very tricky on the edge of grip, especially on the slick tire. Starting out with the basic model with the smallest engine and stock tires is recommended. The topspeed isn't great (Struggles to get over 200 kph) but through corners it's great fun.

One of the most fun rFactor mods I've seen to date! :applause:

Having just given this beast a few runs around Bathurst I agree, a great mod, and I'd really love a real one, fitted out with one of those bike derived Zyzek power trains!!
