• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Been trying to get the Alpha Tornado F3 add-on to work but keep getting a 'Tornado.mdl' error message when I try to select the aircraft. Has anyone got the Tornado F3 working on their FS2002. The GR1 Tornado works fine.

Is your flight sim 2004 or 2002. The Alpha Sim Tornado F3 is for FS2004/FSX only. If FS2002, your '.mdl' is not going to be recognised.

many models can be converted to FS2002 using mdlc, I've used it often to convert FS2004 to CFS2, but it can convert to FS2002 also, you have to do it yourself though as it's payware. Search the downloads here for Archisoft, http://www.sim-outhouse.com/index.p...loads&page=downloads&FileUploadName=archisoft, get 142 and then update to 190 IIRC. Also to make things easier if your not familiar with command line instructions, get Mortons user interface, http://www.sim-outhouse.com/index.php?lloc=downloads&loc=downloads&page=info&FileID=2693

give it a try, if you need help try the CFS2 forum, many in there are familiar with doing this.
