    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I wan't something for my system for Christmas so I got two 2GB sticks of GSKill PC8500 (DDR2 1066) RAM.

Both sticks were seen as 1066 by my bios though I had to set the timings to 5-5-5-15, and both sticks passed 5 hours of memtest, no errors.

My AM3 score went up from 164 to 167, and all sims seem smoother.
 
That's a good upgrade, even 32 bit operating systems seem to benefit from 4GB with sims like FSX. I'm stuck with 2GB, but tempted...
 
I have the same RAM in the computer I'm typing this on. I've been very pleased with it. I think you will be also.
