• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I've got two Saitex ST290 joysticks and both lost aileron control and then throttle control in FS9. Yet they each work in CFS3, so I tried a clean fresh install of FS9 thinking maybe software. No joy, still no ailerons and throttle. They each calibrate in FS9 and they have no installed software, just plug and play. Anyone have any thoughts of why this is happening?

Plug in the controler, then go to Settings > Assignments > Joystick Axes and reassign them. I've lost key and button assignments for no reason in the past - stands to reason it could happen with axis assignments too.

If that doesn't work, rename your fs9.cfg and restart the Sim. When you reinstalled the Sim, it sounds like the old cfg didn't get deleted. Renaming the old one and restarting the Sim will generate a new one with all stock settings.

Thanx, Tom, I went in and found null sensitivities were screwed up and readjusted and every thing is fine, at least for now.
