hi everyone.

when P3D starts in the aircraft cockpit..things are distorted outside the cockpit, and my eyes are to far back,so i use the + key to move it to the 50 mark..(thanks rock)..but how can i change this to that point permanently?
i know its in the .CFG somewhere...but where? and what do i change it to?..

Try adjusting your zoom, and then saving your flight as default flight.
On FSX this is enough to solve the problem, but I don't remember if it works as well in P3D... but it won't cost you a penny to try :)
Else, there's some file named "camera.cfg" somewhere which defines the "default" views. The zoom factor can be edited in there.

Look in the aircraft.cfg file for:

[Views]
eyepoint=

You should have three values separated by commas. These are the distances (in feet) from the aircraft Point of Origin to the initial eyepoint position on start-up and they represent the fore/aft, left/right and up/down values respectively.

Adjust the values as required, save the file and test until you find something you are happy with. Remember that each aircraft is unique so you will have to do this to all your aircraft if they are all giving you problems, there is no magic 'cure all' that will fix every aircraft in one go.

wide aspect?..where and how do i change that?..this is the real issue for me..i think...like at Warren USFS in Warren ID,they buildings look like they are on a trip..or a bad dream..all wierd and misshapen.
