To tell the truth, I didn't think I'd like FSX.... That's why I resisted getting it until now.
But ever since the virus attack on my computer back in August, FS9 has steadfastly refused to run.
So I bit the bullet and bought FSX pro.
Installed it, installed SP1 before I ever started the program and I'm pretty impressed.
Then I started fiddling. :costumes:
And I'm still impressed.
I installed the reduced size tree textures, clouds and started putting in AI.
Still running good at nearly 20 fps on my three year old rig.
Flew the default Lear into Montreal with AI at full (Air Canada and Jazz WOAI) real weather (Rain and snow, one mile visibility) and I still had a solid 14-16 fps and it was still flyable.
Dang!
Now I've got my copies of AFX and Instant Scenery working. I may not leave my computer until spring....
