• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

What do you think should be the right punishment for this act?

Re: Same

I'm a firm believer in punishment exactly as committed in the crime. Beat him with fists and a flashlight until he can't survive.....
I agree with you 100%, but the court would call this cruel and inhumane punishment! This kinda thing makes my blood Boil too. What about the cruel and inhumane treatment done to the Lab???

Beating him until he loses consciousness immediately comes to mind, the punishment fits the crime, but constitutes cruel and unusual punishment by western standards. I'd look into his history. Is this the first time he's abused an animal? Given the severity of the abuse, I'd guess it isn't his first time. Animal abuse often leads to abusing humans and sometimes even to murder. This guy could well be a threat to society and such behavior is not easily changed. He needs help, that is a given, but he must also pay for his crime. Unfortunately, prisons are often just universities for learning the art of crime. So, what to do?
