Hallo friends,
when I make panels for FS2004 I' m parting from my own screen (monitor)
it is HP w1907v with 25,5 cm X 40.5cm, 47.5cm diagonale I do not know
what that gives in anglo-american values.
I use a 1440 x 900 resolotion.Now what I want to know:
1. are I with that in medium/ average range ?
2 what sizes does the other users have in what resolutions?
When I make my 2D panels all depends about the photos I can find
Some times they allow me to do them in 1440x900, but sometimes only a
1024x768 will give me a satisfying possibility.
What do you think about?
Best Regards

Good day Michael,

I hope the information here proves useful, from a generic standpoint: https://nauticomp.com/everything-need-know-types-screen-resolutions/

I myself have a 1080p monitor and an older, much like yours, 1440 x 900 monitor; most simmers, and forgive me if I am mistaken, use their monitors at the highest native resolution the monitor supports, if only to get the most out of their sim, aesthetically (i.e. visuals) and in performance; anything less and one gets the fuzzies/aliasing-artifacts, in spite of the requisite AA, and which takes away from the immersion...

Cheers!
