• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

What was that FS9.CFG entry?...

Fnerg

SOH-CM-2023
That eliminates the " incompatible software" error at start up? I know what it is, when I reinstalled the Snowbirds 2004 you have to place a gaugesound.dll in the main folder and now i get this error message. I just click yes to load and no problems but, there is an entry I just can't remember what it was that rids that, anyone? Thanks.

As far as I know, you shouldn't have to do anything for gaugesound.dll but drop it in the root FS9 folder, not in Modules. Sometimes FS9 will give you a window that says gaugesound.dll has been found and ask if you wish to use it, click Yes as you did. You shouldn't have any other prompts on gaugesound.dll.

For other older FS direct link libraries (dll), one needs to open their FS9.cfg and enter the following below the [MAIN] category. You may not have the two I have listed, this is merely an example, so DO NOT copy and paste what's below.

[OLDMODULES]
SOARRec.dll = 1
FSSound.dll = 1
