• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Where is BOB

I down loaded BOB for P3D V4 and used the Orbx central to download it. I used the default location for the download. After completion I cannot:

1. Find where BOB was downlaoded

2. Didn't show on my P3D menu screen.

3. Is not in normal location where the aircraft files/folder are.

I think ORBX likes to use a different location other then convential

for files scenery for one

If anyone out there that uses BOB please let me know where

the file is located and how did you load BOB in P3D V4.5 -

The manual states it is selected as aircraft but not for me.

You say "default" location. My ORBX Central gives 2 choices, neither named "default"

If by default you mean in the simulator, it would load it into your sim objects/aircraft folder. It will be named just BOB.

That's what I would of thought. It's not there!

Found it

I tried to download Bob again and discovered Orbx Central shows you location of all Orbx installed stuff. Found this info which is help.

Glad you found it. Was just getting ready to post that same screen.


If you want to make a central library outside the sim, on a separate hard drive, go to this screen in Central, and point to/edit your desired location.
