P!s$ed off to say the least

With AS16 P3d having messed up my install removing all clouds from my install, so I tried to do a repair of P3D using the utility from LM to get my default could settings back

In their infinite wisdom, LM's repair utility doesn't repair the original location (ie E drive for me) however installs it into another drive), so far ive used up all of my activations trying to move it back to E drive only to find out I have to do a complete re install after all so I can have it in my desired drive and folder

goodbye 340gb and countless hours reinstalling

2 companies are at the top of my to burn down list tonight.

Jeansy,
The P3D repair function should work, but I can't remember if you need to point it in the right direction via the Options button. It might be worth removing the Textures Folder from P3D so that the repair function will replace the entire folder, then you just copy the contents of your old folder into it and tell it not to overwrite, that way you have all the textures that might have come with your addons plus a virgin set of P3D's textures.

I don't understand why you are having problems with AS16 and Cloud Art so far I've found them great, far more realistic than REX Direct and it works great for me.

Good luck,
Ian

it has me beat,

but there is always one or two who have problems even with a well constructed installer and beta tested product,

I have use the Repair function. I have had no problems. It just found PD3 (located on drive E) and did its thing.
