Prepping the Spartan Executive at Boeing Field for departure in the Gold Class for a later departure to CYPS. I can't help but think there has to be a reason that no one else picked a radial engined taildragger......

Let's get the legalities out of the way. I'm flying Milton Shupe's Spartan Executive in FS9 (Gold Class/High Course) using FSrealWX lite. Additionally this FS9 install is what I call FS 1954 as it uses a lot of the California Classics back dated scenery to put it in the late 50s. Also is a custom AI set that makes use of the CalClassic propliner AI and numerous other aircraft that I've converted to AI. And this uses a base Bill Lyons' Silver Wings install. That plus plenty of other bits installed that I feel adds to the general look of it all. I hope everyone enjoys the screenshots.

KBFI - CYPS

Well, we're ready to start this course. Got the same banker fellow that I hauled around in the Bonanza. When he saw me, he started twitching and shaking all over. Hope he gets over that soon. I'm starting to wonder if it aint malaria or something.

Anyway, off to Pemberton!

Nice shakedown flight to CYPS. This thing is a fuel hog compared to the Bonanza! Good thing the bank is paying the fuel bill. On the other hand, it's quite nice to have a supercharger and not be starting to run out of engine at 7000ft. I'm not sure that banker fellow is going to hang in there. He's looking pretty pale now....

On an unrelated note, this is the first airport in this part of the world that I've been to that Sid and Pete haven't already been here...

CYPS - CYCG

Think I'll just load up and head on over to Castlegar....

CYCG - KSFF

Let's head back south of the border. I've caught a rumor of some guys in red coats and Smokey the Bear hats asking questions about the Spartan....

KSFF - OR12

Off again. I'm not sure if I like the name "Hell's Canyon". But I will make sure to use it repeatedly for the banker's benefit...

KSBS - 1V5

Going over the hills to Boulder. I've heard rumors of an airshow there....

1V5 - KLXV

As much as I hate it leave the Spitfires behind, it's time to head on to Leadville.
