    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

OK, I know you'll think I'm nuts but my favorite joystick only works on WIN98. FATS vs NTSB & 15 pin vs USB thing. I've tried to install 98 on an old PC for games like CFS3 but the PCB controllers didn't install. Any ideas where I might find these drivers? Thanks
 
I don't think you're crazy at all.
I still have two operational Win98 machines though one is getting a little flaky and one hasn't been turn on in a couple years.

The Microsoft SideWinder Precision Pro and 3D Pro joysticks I use also work with Windows 2000 and also Win XP.
If you are trying to use a converter for USB to Game Port, that certainly won't work because the joysticks don't work off a Game Port. They are really run from a MIDI port as found on a sound card.
