Hi all, I'm building a new system and would appreciate some of your help please. I want to put in 8Gb of RAM into my motherboard X48 and have seen on the web and in the manual that i will have to have Win XP 64 bit or Win Vista 64 bit operating system in order for 8 Gb of RAM to be recognised and to be working.
So which one do I get? which is best for CFS3?
Some people on computer forums seem to say that Win XP 64 is faster and better than Win Vista 64, is this the case? and what do you all prefer?

Many thanks

Are you planning to play multiplaying for CFS3? I think the problem still exist for Vista---you can't play multiplaying on the regular "stock" CFS3. However, some addons like "OFF" seems to work (according to the posts).

Thanks Middle and Deadmeat, XP pro X64 it is then. Just received my ATI HD4870X2 card should make a big difference i hope.
