Hey all, in SA16 for P3Dv4,can you get weather from a single airport,as if you were going to stay in the pattern for touch and goes?...do you always have to have a flight plan from point A to B?

ive never tried to tell it to do the same airport..would most likely not work.
 
Active Sky has a universal ATIS feature. You tune a radio to 122.000 and it will give you ATIS for your position based on whatever weather conditions are in effect.
 
There's no need to load a flight plan. AS works just fine without it. You can disable the notifications on the Options page using the "Sim text message options" and unchecking the "Show flight plan warning messages" option.
 
Indeed, no need for flight plan. Active Sky automatically checks where you are, and which date/time it currently is (if you selected the "historical" live weather mode), and adjusts the weather in game according to that.
