Your feedback >>> Piracy

I feel I must say something.
Last year I bought what I thought was a real paint shop pro X1 on ebay, what I got was a dvd pirated copy.

I contacted Coral and they wanted 25 dollars from me but gave me a legal copy.

I contacted ebay and reported this and was blasted by ebay and got a black mark on my record, 3 black marks gets you booted.

this isn't right.
Ebay is to blame almost all software on ebay is pirated and they allow this to go on.

no one is doing anything about piracy, not even the FBI. (thats another story)

eBay is the biggest fencing outfit in the world.

Hi all,
There is really two types of piracy. The one the average person might do like copy a dvd or cd for use in their car or for a friend to listen to.
Then there is the organised and systematic theft for profit that these chinese were caught doing.
The former will never be stopped unless all forms of copying media and machines to copy with are band. This I believe does not really cost the big record companies money as most things copied would probably not have been bought by the person getting the copy or it has already been bought by the person making the copy for themselves.
The later on the other hand does cost millions in lost revenue for the compaines involved and should be crushed out of hand.
One note about piracy.Who makes the machines to copy discs with and also provides the media to do it with. The same companies who are bleating about their lost revenue from the sales of dodgy music and software.
I do not condone piracy,But do not think it will ever be stopped.
In many ways the record and software companies they want their cake and eat it at the same time.

Really want to torture them, send them to a DMW in Florida around June and make them wait in line for a couple months.
