Jap fighters 3d models

Hi sixstrings5859,

Japanese aircraft certainly seem a weakness in the range, like Russian aircraft. A (very) quick look at SOH Japanese planes (excluding models that are simply reskins of other nations' aircraft) gives the following list:

Ki's 32, 43, 44, 48, 51
A6M2, A6M6 Zeros
B5N2 Kate
D3A-1 Val
G4M1 Betty (beta version by AvHistory).

Are there more Japanese models under either PTO and RS that are not in the SOH Warbirds library?

Installed PTO-RS and really am impressed . Awesome expansion ! Installed all Japanese aircraft here and from AeroSim-( JAAF series) . Thanks to all involved with RS. Now have all available expansions and some custom made installs. Am a happy camper now !

The J2M3 Raiden linked to above looks fantastic . Would make a good foundation if it can be converted. There is some nice 3D models out there but can be very costly so not interested in those. As stated above we desperately more bombers and flying boats.

The J2M3 Raiden would be one of the best new fighter add on for the PTO in my opinion. Maybe one day it will be done.....

Thankful for what we have in the PTO. Lots of aircraft and theaters to choose from. Hopefully one day we'll have as many Russian aircraft when the Eastern Front is done. Amazing to see there is still more being done for CFS3. Hopefully the future of CFS3 will live on for many years to come. For WWII it's still one of the best along with Il-2 '46 . Both have their pros and cons but CFS3 is my go to combat flight sim above all others. Thanks to all the talented people who do all this work to keep things progressing and do it for free. Thanks,Scott
