Seattle City X is compatible with Seattle Airports X by Drzewiecki Design, all ORBX products, all PILOT’S products and all Megascenery products. It can also be used together with KSEA Seattle-Tacoma by Taxi2Gate.

while it sates it does, im interested to hear any feedback on how it interacts with the FTX region and or local airports as Im interested in some local region addons that are on sale

Has anyone used this companies files before? Being a long time Seattleite and a retired Boeing employee who spent most of his time on Boeing Field, these look pretty interesting.

I have two Drzewiecki Design's products installed: Washington X and Moscow X. Both are fantastic with plenty of detail. They can be a bit of a performance hit, particularly if you're flying with AI and other sliders full right. The developer is getting better at optimization with each successive creation, though.

If there's any doubt, they do offer free demos of all their products. They have reduced detail and lower resolution ground textures, but you'll at least get an idea of what to expect with Seattle. I've been eager for a good BFI & PAE for years. I just hope these play nicely with T2G Seattle installed! Good luck.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the info. I think I will start with one and see how it goes.

I like this companys products. They add a lot to see to special places in the world with affordable price.

At the same time I advice to wait. Lately there has always been a version 2 with perfomance improvement but with extra cost even if you bought the v1.
Discount for owners of previous versions is very modest and you can get it really cheap in sales. Just to warn you not pay double.

I've never been charged for an upgrade with these products. Just re-download the new file.
I love these sceneries BTW.
Sue

Drzewiecki Design New York City X in FSX = about 6 fps average ( maybe 7 or 8 after the patch... )

Drzewiecki Design New York City X in P3Dv4 = about 25/30 fps average

That's about it in a nutshell. If you want to really enjoy flying over large cities it's P3Dv4 what the bell tolls.

Sofar i have DD NYCX, Miami, Washington and NY Airports with the latter actually being the most demanding (but that's of course because of in conjuction with NYCX.. )

Personally i am a sucker for flying over large cities and i find DD sceneries particulary breathtaking. ( in P3Dv4 that is... sorry... ;-)

cheers,
jan

Bought it yesterday and use it in P3Dv4. Only thing I noticed so far was a problem at KSEA concerning the elevation. Probably caused by ORBX GV.
And some of the static planes blocked parking positions. Might be a problem with another AFCAD for KBFI on my PC.
No big impact on frames to report and since it comes with a config tool, you can reduce texture sice, complexity like interiors of the construction line etc.
I am pretty close to buy the city too.
Cheers

I got Seattle city and am having problems. When I installed it the scenery was the worst I have ever seen. I flew north from KSEA and all I saw were randomly scattered houses and very few roads. I did see some of the scenery that was added but it was only things like highway overpasses. As I got to Seattle another thing I saw was the rivers were frozen and all of the edges of Elliot Bay were frozen. That bay has never frozen anytime. Basically the scenery looks awful.

I then tried to log into their website. They wouldn't accept my name or my password. I tried numerous times with no success. So the bottom line is at this point I have a piece of worthless expensive software.

I just sent an E-Mail to the company with my problem. Hopefully it will get sorted.
