Does anyone know where I can obtain a copy of the "Auster J-1N Alpha" by Dave Garwood ?
I have all the other Auster Models Dave has done, but not this one.

It is available at cbfsim.co.uk - for members of cbfsim only

All the Best

Thanks, Just finished picking it up. Becming a member at CBFSIM and finding that file is just about the only thing I successfully accomplished today!

:guinness::guinness::guinness: CHEERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the post T-Square. I'm not normally a fan of this type (really slow, lol) but your post peaked my interest since is was by Dave Garwood. It does not disappoint, that's for sure. Excellent modeling and detail, VC is very nicely detailed as well and the pilot animation is much smoother and more realistic than many I've come across. Having a blast flying it and I would definitely recommend it.

Also, thanks to Dave Garwood for the perfect paint kit. . .minimum number of layers to work with, all shadowing included and a wire mesh layer to show the exact location for what you're working on. There are many out there who would do well to follow his example.

Thanks for the comments, it's much appreciated. :encouragement:

Peter Watkins has done around 25 repaints for the Auster J-1N, that can be found over at "Flightsim.com", if anyone is interested. Just my opinion but you can't go wrong if "Dave Garwood" models it, and "Pete Watkins" skins it, two of the "Greats" .:very_drunk:

Seconded all the way - lovely model and great paints. I had a go at one Alpha that Peter Watkins didn't do (I think) - its in the SOH library if anyone's interested. :encouragement:
