• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

Canadair CL-215

Yeah, it looks great but as mentioned above, the wrong files got uploaded. I knew something was amiss as the reviews were pretty bad (Roland is normally very good to iron out pre-release bugs). Will wait for the update before buying it.
 
I've always like this airplane...hopefully Roland ensures that the correct files get uploaded, and gives us better sounds...and a PAINT KIT!

(A CL-215B search and rescue version would be cool too)

Well, if all the problem is that "wrong files were uploaded by mistake" (as many are saying), I guess it shouldn't take long to be fixed, should it?
 
Once I pulled the trigger on Simmarket and bought it, I found that there were two versions…the original, and UPDATE. I downloaded UPDATE and installed it. Why they left two versions up is beyond me. Guess I’ll wait for a third: UPDATE to the UPDATE…

It has potential…but not a lot in its current state, given the even limited choices already out there.
