• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Hi People,

I'm from the dark side that is MSFS2020, but I have some sad news to convey.

My dear friend of over 30 years, Claude, Navtech for you people, has passed away today at only 75. He was just the nicest person you could imagine.

He did a whole career as an officer of the merchant navy of our country, he was an officer and a gentleman, without the Hollywood pizzaz.

I'm heartbroken. But at least he didn't suffer.

@huub vink I think you knew him from both of your EAW times, I have no contacts in that community. Could you pass on the message there? Thanks!
 
My condolences Jan. And my thoughts are with those he leaves behind.

Navtech was an active member in this forum, always friendly and helpful, therefore he definitely will be missed.

EAW is a long time a go and I'm afraid I don't have any contacts in that community anymore.
