This is an old repaint for the FSD T-38 Talon by Marcel Hendrikse. Back in 2010 I changed the letter font over to Amarillo USAF.
I updated the glass texture to work with the FS9 T-38 update kit by shessi.
The 97th FTS was based at Williams AFB (KIWA) from 1973 to 1993.
I also included two probable callsigns for the 97th, DEVIL and WILLY.

I could have sworn it was shessi, but yeah- it was OBIO. :ernaehrung004:

One thing I did that I didn't include- I swapped in the flight dynamics (.air file and aircraft.cfg data) from the Virtavia (still payware) F-5.
The swap doesn't make a huge difference, FS9 doesn't like aircraft with small wings. It just feels slightly heavier.

I still haven't been able to find Marcel's original (FS2002) repaint. I thought it was at FS.com or AVSIM?

Tried those and at SimV... no joy. Any more Info on the specific Repaint? :)
 
Yeah, I downloaded it in something like 2008 or 2009. :indecisiveness:
I don't recall any dramas, its like Marcel just pulled the zip file or it fell through the cracks.
I'll take a look at my download stash, but there's a lot of FS9 stuff I just bulk-transferred when I'd upgrade my PCs.
I don't know, maybe try searching the tail number? I tried searching using "T-38", "Talon", "FSD", and Marcel. Nada. :unsure:
