• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Screenshots!

Here's a few more WIP shots. Take a look at the lighting on the trees and buildings. Like the terrain itself, Ankor has given scenery lighting a solid upgrade. I have noticed a particular improvement in the distant scenery.

Is there any difference in scenery with the original WOTR scenery and the WOTR Battle of France edition ? Still have the older edition, and looks really nice.

Effing hell John!, not doing it justice, I 'weep' looking at those shots. Yes, there are some jaggies around the ac, could be your GPU or a setting (limit?), and please someone in the CFS3 do something about your spinning prop tex, props never show a whole disc so clearly/dark etc.

But, that ac tex, and the scenery is up with IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles, just gorgeous!

Cheers

Really fantastic compared with when CFS3 started life! Now I fly almost always by night, but I imagine another, perhaps more difficult, improvement, would be the scenery; already somewhat better in WOFF and WOTR. Dynamic weather as Mark did a while back would be nice! sadly of course there are not many really capable productive people left here, and they probably do it more for personal pleasure with a decreasing audience. I suppose we should consciously spread the word elsewhere' especially when all these great improvements are done.

That, and the fact that many of us don't really have time. I'm one of the younger ones at 38 but it also means a full day job with all its side effects and other hobbies that are all away from CFS3. Even getting started with something that big would take weeks if not months, and that's before actually needing time to get results out of it.

Seeing that Emil made me drool! What is the best Emil available now? If someone could give me a pointer, that would be hugely appreciated! And that paint is simply lovely!
