I never had the Cox P-40. My neighbor did. But I did have the Cox Skycopter free flight model. As a 10/11 year old I got good at climbing trees to get it back... The only thing I have more hours on than flight sim are Guillows Balsa gliders and rubber band powered models...

Looking at the METARS last night for the Eastern side of the US and the fact that virtually all the main hubs were shut I thought I'd take a live-weather test flight. So I took the PMDG 738 from Syracuse into Newark. I have to say the cloudscapes and the winds aloft on the transit down were incredible. That was nothing compared to realism and immersion of the RWY04L auto-land in near zero visibility and driving snow at Newark. My main issue after landing was finding the terminal area the visibility was so bad.
